LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series: Conveyor Track

LOGO!MAT XL - Series
The LOGO!MAT XL - Series Conveyor System is a high capacity, palletized friction roller conveyor with an anodized aluminum frame. All pre-assembled powered conveyor sections are driven by a geared motor and one tangential chain. Corners and diverts combine straight sections with just a few extra components. The entire system offers a high flexibility in re configuring the layout with low efforts. All station can be located or inserted almost everywhere. The full rollers in that area can be replaced by stub rollers without any special tools within a couple minutes.
The system is popular and known to be very rigid, for its low maintenance, high availability and very good reliability for many years under production environment.

LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series: Standard components
The unique flexible design characteristics of the LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series combined with standardized components allows for almost all conceivable track arrangements and the ability to easily modify them afterwards.
LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series: E-CART

The LOGO!MAT E-CARTs have a steel chassis with a big opening in the center section to provide access to the work piece from beneath. Four pairs of tandem wheels enable the E-CART to drive over rail-slots between the straight sections and a track rotate. Four of the eight wheels are driven by a low voltage brushless DC motor.

LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series: Stop Unit

LOGO!MAT E-CART Stop Units can be installed anywhere on the tracks like on a conventional double strand conveyor. A sensor in the E-CART detects a stopper some inches before the stop point and decelerates the E-CART so that it comes to a full stop exactly at the stop point with an accuracy of approximately +/- 1 mm.
LOGO!MAT E-CART - Series: Locate Unit

A LOGO!MAT E-CART Locate Unit (= indexing unit) can be installed between the two parallel rail tracks. Since the work piece fixture or work piece-specific top plate sits loosely in the indexing bushings of the E-CART it can be lifted off and aligned with the indexing unit with an accuracy of +/- 0.5 mm.
LOGO!MAT XL - Series: Rollers

The LOGO!MAT XL Roller Conveyor Systems are generally equipped with heavy duty, self-developed and produced friction rollers. Each roller has a built-in, adjustable friction clutch that lets the roller stop under the stationary pallet during an accumulation of pallets. As a result, only very minimal accumulation and stopping force is generated, even if high weights get transported. All rollers are maintenance free and a friction adjustment can be done while the roller is installed. Relocating or replacing a roller can be done in less than five minutes without any special tools. Chips, dirt, grindings or other particles simply fall down between the rollers and do not influence the pallet transport. Fluids don’t influence the roller performance because of the well-sealed bearings and the enclosed roller design.
The rollers in the assembly conveyors carry the weight of the pallet. The drive chain acts as the driving element and does not see any load, which consequently prolongs the life of the chain. The entire chain is guided, contained and protected in the frame of the conveyor and is automatically tensioned in the drive station.
Heavy duty stub rollers can be installed in areas where access to the work piece from underneath is required. Part accessibility from below is helpful if:
- The work piece gets machined from below
- The part has to become indexed directly
- A vision check has to be done from the bottom
- The part has to be supported to apply pressing forces or high torques
LOGO!MAT XL - Series: Pallets

By using a skid design, we allow the possibility of a huge opening in the center of the pallet for every pallet. The pallet top and / or tooling plate builds the structure and interface to hold the skids and the stop unit insert mounting blocks. The one size skid can be used for different top plate sizes. They can overhang to either side as long as the load is mostly centered. Using wear resistant and durable PA material for the skids allows supporting pallet weights of up to 1,300 lbs. (600 kg) without creating dents. The direct mounting of the close tolerance index bushings to the top plate creates a highly accurate and repeatable indexing location. The side guide rollers include bearings to take the loads; these are also mounted to defined locations in the top plate. A bi-directional design of the pallet is available.
The integrated steel stop unit insert with included return stop is another feature that is part of the pallet kit. The gravity flapper is a simple device to hold the pallet at a stop. Pushing a pallet backwards out of the stop location is not possible. A recessed steel strip on the bottom of the stop unit insert mounting block builds the target for the pallet present sensors and for high level switches. The length of the strip controls when the stop unit can be raised again. That combination eliminates the need for additional high-level pallet stop switches.
The special design of the skid pallet enables it to travel easily around corners and diverters.
